Samsung begins mass production of single-chip systems Exynos T200 i is designed for the Internet of things

Samsung Electronics announced the beginning of serial release of the first single-chip system Exynos family, designed for devices of the Internet of things. This Samsung Exynos SOC i T200 was presented at the end of April.

The Exynos T200 i configuration includes a processor core ARM Cortex-R4 and Cortex-M0+, as well as memory, and blocks required for wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band.

The advantages of Exynos i T200 include the presence of individual blocks of hardware security (Security Sub-System, SSS) and a physical uncloneable functions (Physical Unclonable Function, PUF) for secure authentication without the need to keep the crystal a fixed key or to rely on additional storage for the key.

The new drug is produced according 28-nanometer HKMG technology that is optimized according to the criterion of energy consumption.
