Sales in the Chinese smartphone market declined for the first time in a year and a half
After six consecutive quarters during which smartphone sales in China continued to grow in the second quarter of this year were shipped 113 million phones (3% less than in the same period a year earlier).
The leader was Huawei, which sold more than 23 million devices. Second place with a score of more than 21 million smartphones got the Oppo, followed by Vivo (16 million phones).
Xiaomi company managed to improve sales performance by 60%, having shipped 15 million smartphones and took fourth place.
All other companies in the top ten, including Apple, Samsung and Meizu, recorded a deterioration of sales. The company, which occupied the first five places, provide smartphones three-quarters of the Chinese market in the second quarter of 2017.
