Sale laptops Acer and Asustek in Russia increased significantly
DigiTimes, citing Economic Daily News reports that sales of laptops Acer and Asustek Computer in Russia in the second half of 2016 has grown substantially.
Commenting on this information, the head of Acer Russia Dmitry Kravchenko noted that the economic situation in Russia and the purchasing power of citizens continues to be determined by oil prices and the ruble exchange rate.
Asustek CFO Nick Wu (Nick Wu) has confirmed that Russia, indeed, has witnessed the growth of laptop sales, which positively affected the financial performance of the company.
In the past two years, Russia brought Asustek only 2-3% of the income, but at the end of last year, our country’s share in total income increased to 4-5%.
