Ricoh demonstrated a camera with a spherical view, which can be used for day streaming
Ricoh is developing a camera with a viewing angle of 360°, which can be used for round-the-clock live streaming. A prototype camera manufacturer showed at CES 2017.
The camera forms an image with 2K resolution with a frame rate of 30 fps. Its the CPU performs the conversion in the conventional equidistant projection in real time. Video is output by HDMI and USB. Record to a microSD card. The camera gets power from the AC adapter.
The manufacturer is going to put a camera in the composition of the kits Ricoh R Development Kit aimed at developers, in the hope that the latter used the camera in telepresence applications and computer vision, as well as entertainment programs.
