Retail sales in Croatia decreased for the first time in five months

Retail sales in Croatia decreased for the first time in five months in September, according to data of the Croatian Bureau of statistics.

The volume of retail sales in September fell 1.9 percent from the previous month, after rising 0.7 percent in the previous month.

In annual terms, retail sales growth slowed to 4.3 percent in September from 6.4 percent in August.

The data also showed that the value of retail sales in September decreased by 1.0 percent month-on-month, while it increased by 7.5 percent compared to the previous year.
