Radeon RX 580, RX and RX 570 560 GPU will get Polaris Polaris 20 and 21, but these new GPUs are not

Recently, we reported that the graphics card line Radeon RX 500 will be presented in April, but initially it will be purely renamed the solution of the current generation. New data confirm that information, complete with details.

So, the first should appear model Radeon RX 580, RX 570, RX 560 and a RX 550. They will be based on the GPU Polaris that will simply get new names. In particular, the Radeon RX RX 580 and 570 will get Polaris graphics processor 20, which is the renamed version of Polaris 10. The number of stream processors remain unchanged, but will increase slightly the frequency. For the older cards is 1340 MHz for the core and 8000 MHz memory, but for RX 570 — 1244 MHz and 7000 MHz respectively. It is expected that the RX 580 with 8 GB of memory will cost $ 200, a RX 570 — $ 150.

Radeon RX GPU 560 will get Polaris 21, which is the renamed version of Polaris 11. As we expected, this card will get a full GPU 1024 with all the active processors. Frequency will be 1287 MHz for the core and 7000 MHz for the memory.

For Radeon RX 550 Polaris a cooked GPU 12. But, most likely, talking about the same Polaris 11 with the same active 896 stream processors.

In fairness it should be noted that the «new» GPU will be produced according to the updated workflow is 14 instead of 14 LPE LPP that should have a positive impact on the consumption and frequency potential.
