Qualcomm offers to $15,000 for vulnerabilities found in its products

It is no secret that the growing penetration of electronics into everyday life long ago crossed a line from which the intruders may wish to access sensitive user data, taking advantage of vulnerabilities in the systems of collecting, storing and transmitting information. Wanting to increase the security of their products, Qualcomm announced the launch of the program of payment of cash rewards for discovering vulnerabilities in a single-chip system Qualcomm Snapdragon, LTE modems and other products.

The maximum amount of compensation — $15 000. The manufacturer has already offered more than 40 researchers in the field of information security to become the first participants in the program.
