Qualcomm adds single-chip system Snapdragon 210 Android Things

Qualcomm has announced that it will soon add support Android operating system Things system-on-chip Snapdragon processor 210.

Recall that the Android OS Things was presented in December. It is intended for devices on the IOT. As for the Snapdragon 210, this is not the latest SoC of Qualcomm. It contains four cores of Cortex-A7 and GPU Adreno 304. But for those devices that will target this system-on-chip within the Android OS Things, performance is not the main criterion. But this solution contains a X5 LTE modem with data transfer rate up to 150 Mbps.

The Snapdragon 210 will be first to market SoC with LTE modem, which received the support of the Android OS Things. This support will be added to the system-on-chip later this year.
