In the next round of testing, Google has teamed up with Guzman y Gomez (catering) and pharmacy chain, Chemist Warehouse. Tests are held in Australia, as this country is perfect for testing drones. In particular, in the framework of this round of drones Project Wing was to deliver medicine and food to customers living in rural areas remote from urban areas.
The drones has not changed over the past year, so perhaps they will be in the final version, when Project Wing will turn into a commercial project. Devices features 12 horizontally aligned drivers and a pair of vertically oriented propellers. For transporting objects drones have a cable with a hook that allows them to land in the goal.
