Problem Touch Disease relating to Apple iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, risks becoming an epidemic. On Apple sued

On Apple again sued. A class action lawsuit was filed by the owners of smartphones iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

The bill contains a problem, which is called the Touch Disease. Under this name hides a defect of the device consists in the fact that one fine day the screen of the device simply ceases to respond to touch, and on top there is a characteristic shimmering gray striped.

It is reported that Apple has know about the problem, but does not react. In particular, the guarantees of these smartphones do not change, and repair, they simply are not, because replacing the display does not solve the problem. Thus, victims have only one option — buying a new device.

The specialists of iFixit, by the way, recently published an article on this issue, claiming that she was exposed to the iPad. And argues that the issue is gaining momentum and may become mainstream. For example, a specialist from New Orleans already captures a few dozen requests per month with the same defect.

Presumably the problem is caused by insufficient structural strength of Apple’s smartphone on a bend. And even if externally, the device is not curved and is quite a smooth, permanent microbends of the case in the end lead to the fact that chip touch screen controller loses contact with the motherboard. This implies that the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus should not be affected as they are first, some are stronger, and secondly, Apple has moved the specified chip to another part of the Board.
