Presented protected compact camera Ricoh WG-50
Company Ricoh Imaging introduced a secure camera Ricoh WG-50, image which appeared yesterday.
Degree of protection camera allows it to sustain a two-hour dive to a depth of 14 m, falls from a height up to 1.6 m and cooled to -10°C.
The camera uses the image sensor type CMOS with reverse exposure. Format sensor — 1/2,3 inches, resolution — 16 MP. The image on the photosensitive surface of the sensor forms a lens with EGF 28-140 mm maximum aperture F/3,5-F/5,5 inherited from model WG-40. Around the lens there are six LEDs that provides illumination for macro shots.
The range of sensitivity is equal to ISO 125-6400, shutter speed — 1/4000-4 s. the User has nine focus points, six values, white balance and more than two dozen scene modes. Provided continuous shooting speeds of 8 fps. In movie mode the maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels and a frame rate of 30 fps. At a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels frame rate can be chosen equal to 30, 60 or 120 fps.
In the equipment of WG-50 comes with a display size of 2.7 inches and a resolution of 230 000 pixels, flash, effective at distances up to 5.5 m, HDMI and USB 2.0. As removable media, use a memory card format SD, SDHC, and SDXC. Without recharging the battery pack, the camera allows you to make 300 shots. It weighs 193 grams and its dimensions are equal to 123 x 62 x 30 mm.
In selling the camera will appear in the end of June. Customers will be offered the black and orange color options. Price new is $279.
