PowerColor introduced the four Radeon RX 580

PowerColor company, among others, today introduced the Radeon RX 580. The manufacturer has expanded from four adapters: Red Dragon 580 Radeon RX 4GB, Red Dragon RX 580 Radeon 8GB GDDR5, Radeon RX Red Devil 580 8GB GDDR5 and Red Devil Golden Sample Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5.

The first two differ only in memory size and its frequency. In the case of the version with 4 GB of memory frequency is 7000 MHz 8000 MHz against the second version. GPU frequency is specified equal to 1350 MHz, but in Boost mode. These 3D maps have a length of 255 mm and requires one eight-pin power connector.

Accelerator Radeon RX Red Devil 580 8GB GDDR5 received a different cooling system and a larger printed circuit Board. In this case, the core frequency is increased to 1380 MHz. For operation, the device requires the connection of two power connectors (8+6).

Flagship Red Devil Golden Sample Radeon 8GB GDDR5 RX 580 is based, looks on the same PCB with the seven phases of the power subsystem. The cooler is significantly larger, though and topped with the same pair of 100 mm fans. This card is in the building two and a half adjacent expansion slot, you need to consider before buying. GPU frequency Boost mode rises to 1425 MHz, but the memory is not overclocked.
