Pixelgen the new Design, THX certified, provide the transmission of 4K video to a distance of 30 m

The canadian company Pixelgen Design at the exhibition CEDIA 2016 introduced three products that are certified THX that support the transmission of 4K video to a distance of 30 m.

Opens the device list PXLDRIVE, which the manufacturer calls the industry’s first THX certified active connection for 4K for the transmission of the signal to distance to 15 m at the existing or newly paved passive HDMI cables. The price of this device is $249. It will also be offered complete with cables 10 and 15 m at a price of $279 and $299 respectively.

The second novelty — the Pixelgen cables with a bandwidth of 18 Gbit/s. They are manufactured in length 0,3, 0,5, 1, 2, 3, and 5 m. Prices start from $12.

Finally, the third product is a hybrid copper-fiber optic cable Fiber Pixelgen. It can be used to transfer HDMI signals to a distance of 20 or 30 m. the Cable fully complies with the latest version of the HDMI specification.

Taking pre-orders on PXLDRIVE and Pixelgen has already begun. Shipment will begin on October 10. Pixelgen Fiber cables will be available for pre-order October 15, and shipping will start on 1 December.
