Owners Acer Chromebook Asus Chromebook R11 and Flip got the stable version of Chrome OS with Google Play Store

In the spring, Google announced that before the end of the year, chromebook users will get the ability to run applications for Android devices by downloading them directly from Google Play Store.


Last week was released the stable build of Chrome OS, which includes a beta version of the Google Play Store, allowing you to try out this functionality to owners of chromebooks Acer Chromebook Asus Chromebook R11 and Flip.


At the moment Google doesn’t tell you which chromebooks will connect to the test Google Play Store following. On the official website published a list of more than 60 models products, support for Android apps which should be added at the end of this or early next year.



We will remind, on October 4, Google may present Andromeda — new OS, which will bring together Android and Chrome OS.
