Overclocked to 2.5 GHz, the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti set a new record in 3DMark Time Spy

The GeForce GTX 1080 Ti offers unprecedented gaming performance, allowing it to run any modern game at maximum settings in 4K resolution.

But this does not mean that nobody cares about overclocking this device. And if someone is small enough gain, the enthusiasts ready by any means to squeeze all the juice out of the news. Despite the fact that on the market yet the original boosters with enhanced power subsystem, renowned overclocker Kingpin managed to overclock the GPU of the reference GTX 1080 Ti to frequency 2,481 GHz, which automatically rises even higher. Memory card operated at a frequency of 12.5 GHz.

Eventually managed to set a new record in 3DMark Spy Time: 13 291 points overall and 13 120 points directly to the graphic accelerator. For comparison, the previous record (12 316 points) belonged to the adapter Titan X, whose GPU runs at frequency of 2.3 GHz.
