Oracle filed an appeal, which many years of litigation, the company with Google will resume
The US judicial system allows big companies years to sue over a case, feeding countless appeals.
So many years of conflict between Google and Oracle, which ended in victory for the search giant last year, is preparing for another round. Oracle filed an appeal, demanding to cancel the decision of the court, adopted in may 2016.
Despite the court’s decision, Oracle still believes that the use of opponent Java APIs in the Android operating system violates the copyright act. Previously, because of this, the company demanded from Google $ 9 billion.
Recall, the court decided that the search giant can use Java without having to pay royalties under the terms of fair use, part of Copyright Law.
