Online sales in the United States on thanksgiving Day topped $ 1 billion, on Black Friday — $ 3 billion

According to the Adobe Systems, analysis of data about 21 billion visits to online stores, this year’s online sales in the United States on thanksgiving Day exceeded 1.15 billion. This is 13.6% more than last year. While using mobile devices was done shopping at 449 million dollars, of which 322 million — using smartphones, 127 million through tablets. In other words, 39% of all online shopping on thanksgiving Day in the United States made smartphone users. Another $ 702 million brought the outlets to buyers who visited their sites using your PC.

As for discounts, many shops begin to introduce them back in early November. By the way, from 1 to 22 November, the online shopping earned 25.6 billion dollars. The biggest discount this year was on the tablets and toys. The average discount on tablets was 25.1%, whereas a year ago it was equal to 12.2%, and the average discount on toys for the year increased from 8.4% to 16.8%.

Even more sales on Black Friday: they first exceeded $ 3 billion, reaching a record value of 3.05 billion dollars. This is 11.3% higher than a year ago. More than a third of purchases were made using mobile devices.
