On the issue of miniature cameras for machine vision JeVois collected more than $100,000

On the website collective financing KickStarter completed the fundraising for the production of miniature cameras for machine vision JeVois. The project was a success: hoping to raise at least $50 000, the authors have collected more than $100,000.

Part JeVois actually includes camera module and Board with a Quad-core ARM processor and peripherals, including a USB port, serial port and microSD slot. Compact self-contained device is aimed at use in various projects. It is designed for connection to a desktop or mobile computer, Raspberry Pi or other micro-PCs. Due to the openness of the software, JeVois easily integrated with other components.

The camera can broadcast the video, to issue text commands and pre-processed images, for example for pattern recognition neural network.
