On the assessment of KGI, the first Samsung smartphone with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner will be the Galaxy Note 9
KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) made his prediction as to when the South Korean giant Samsung will begin using the new ultrasonic fingerprint sensors in their smartphones.
According to him, a new type of scanner that detects fingerprints through the glass of the front panel, failed to implement in the upcoming Galaxy Note 8. Moreover, the analyst claims that the flagship smartphone of 2018 Galaxy S9 and S9+ get the fingerprint sensor on the rear panel like the Galaxy S8 and S8+.
The first smartphone that will use a new type of sensors, will be the Galaxy Note 9. Prior to the release of this phablet is still more than a year.
