Off the coast of great Britain earned the world’s most powerful wind generators

Recently off the coast of great Britain earned the world’s most powerful wind generators. Liverpool Bay was selected to host the 32 giant structures the Danish company Dong Energy.

On each pole with a height of 195 meters is the generator of 8 MW power driven rotor blades with a length of 80 m. According to Dong Energy, generated per revolution of the blades of electricity one house would be enough for 29 hours.

Company Dong Energy builds wind farms in the UK because of the attractive subsidies and laws. As for the size, several large generators are in the construction and operation of a larger number of cheaper small.
