Nokia plans to return to the three market leaders
Himble Tomislav (Tomislav Himbele), who heads the marketing Department of the company Global HMD in Eastern Europe, gave an interview to the Croatian edition of the Bug.hr.
Tomislav is responsible for the output of the HMD Global in 33 countries of the region, including Russia. He stated that he announced at the Mobile World Congress the new Nokia device will go on sale in Europe in the second half of the second quarter of 2017. That is, their appearance in stores is not expected before the end of may.
He also added that the prices of the new Nokia in different countries will differ due to different VAT rates.
However, the most interesting statement Tomislav Himble did, answering the question about where he sees himself HMD Global in three years. He said that the Global HMD plans to return Nokia to three of the most successful manufacturers on the market of mobile phones and smartphones: «We are ahead of Apple, Samsung or Huawei…or all three of the company».
