Nokia buys developer of systems network analysis

The company Nokia announced plans to acquire Deepfield. Deepfield, as stated in the press release, is the market leader of network analysis. Simply put, Deepfield, has been developing technologies for analysis of performance, efficiency, and security networks.

Nokia believes that the deal will expand market power in the relevant segment and provide an opportunity to the Finns to provide its customers, including Telecom providers, cable operators, service providers related to cloud services and so forth, a more complete package of services.

In particular, Nokia seeks to better integrate development Deepfield with their platforms Nokia Network and Services Platform Nuage Networks Virtualized Services Platform.

Deepfield was founded in 2011 and currently has 65 employees. The value of the transaction is not reported.
