New Fujitsu server Primergy support Nvidia Volta
Fujitsu has announced the certification of Primergy servers, which confirms that they support the Nvidia Tesla V100 architecture Volta.
The first certified Fujitsu server Primergy CX2570 M4 protruding components of the modular platform CX400 M4 and the Fujitsu server Primergy RX2540 M4. According to the manufacturer, modular platform CX400 M4 high-density layout and energy efficiency, characteristic of blade-systems, combined with exceptional ease and efficiency, typical for rack-mounted servers.
CX2570 M4 configuration can include up to four Tesla GPUs V100 is connected via the interface NVLink. In RX2540 M4 uses the interface PCle, and the maximum number of Tesla GPUs V100 is equal to two.
Dual-processor rack server RX2540 M4 size 2U is designed to run enterprise applications, databases and software collaboration tools and messaging.
The use of graphics accelerators will enhance the performance of these systems in applications of artificial intelligence and deep learning neural networks. Certified Primergy servers will be available in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India, starting from December this year.
