New Dell monitors: 24 Touch Monitor (P2418HT) and 24 Monitor for Video Conferencing (P2418HZ)

At the just concluded CES 2017, the company Dell has presented not only the flagship monitor with a resolution of 8K, but the solutions are simpler and cheaper. Among them was the model of the P2418HT and P2418HZ.

Each of the innovations has a second name, which reveals the essence. So, P2418HT is called Dell Touch Monitor 24, from which it becomes clear that it has a touch screen. And the alternative model designation P2418HZ — Dell 24 Monitor for Video Conferencing. This monitor is equipped with everything needed for video conferencing.

In both the product has an LCD IPS panel diagonal 23.8 inch Full HD resolution. According to the manufacturer the contrast and brightness is 250 CD/sqm and 1000:1 respectively. Also the device is capable of displaying 83-84% color space CIE 1976.

Dell P2418HT has an anti-glare coating matrix hardness of 3H and provides recognition 10 touch points simultaneously. And Dell P2418HZ endowed with a web-camera resolution of 2.1 Megapixel with IR led and a separate IR camera, two omnidirectional microphones and two built-in speakers with total capacity of 10 watts.

And P2418HT, and P2418HZ have three video input (DisplayPort 1.2, HDMI 1.4 and D-Sub) and a pair of USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 for connecting peripherals.

Novelties will go on sale in the United States since January 12. The cost model P2418HT is $400, the model P2418HZ a bit cheaper — $330.
