Named prices for gaming monitors Samsung CFG70 and CF791 with concave screens on quantum dots

Samsung Electronics announced the beginning of sales of monitors series CFG70 and CF791. In CFG70 series includes models with screen sizes 24 and 27 inches, and the series CF791 is represented by a model with a screen size of 34 inches. A common feature of the novelties is the concave shape of the screen. In the case of monitors CFG70 the radius of curvature is 1800 mm, CF791 it is equal to 1500 mm. the New monitors support FreeSync, and AMD focused on gamers.

The panel monitors Samsung CFG70 and CF791 found a use for the technology quantum dots, enhancing image quality: the coverage of the color space sRGB is 125%.

We previously reported that the 24-inch model Samsung C24FG70 was shown some time ago at Gamescom 2016. About the same time there were reports about the 43-inch models Samsung CF791.

The CFG70 screen resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, CFG71 — 3440 x 1440 pixels. The response time of the pixel is declared equal to 1 and 4 MS and the maximum frame rate of 144 and 100 Hz, respectively. The viewing angles are in all cases equal to 178°. Each monitor has a single DisplayPort input and two HDMI inputs. Equipment 34-inch model also includes two speakers with a capacity of 7 W and a USB hub.

Model CFG70 a 24-inch screen priced by the manufacturer at $399, with a 27-inch screen at $499. CF791 monitor costs $999.
