Mozilla will soon stop supporting the Firefox browser for Windows XP and Windows Vista

The company Mozilla has announced that soon will end support for Firefox browser for Windows operating systems XP and Windows Vista.

Version Firefox 52 is the latest for this OS. The following new versions of the browser will be available only for Windows 7 and more modern systems. Mozilla stresses that its browser was one of the few that supports such an outdated OS. But always it could not continue, so around March of next year, all users of Windows XP and Vista will automatically be translated into support for Firefox Extended Support Release.

Security updates for Firefox, these users will get up to September 2017. In the middle of the year the developers will estimate the number of users of a browser with the old OS to determine the date of the effective end of technical support.
