Motorola Solutions reported for the last quarter of 2016 and the year as a whole

Motorola Solutions has published a report for the fourth quarter of 2016 and the year as a whole.

Motorola Solutions ‘ revenue for the quarter amounted to 1,883 billion, 12% more than in the fourth quarter of 2015, is equal to 1,682 billion.

Operating profit for the quarter amounted to 403 million dollars, having increased by 4%. When calculating non-GAAP operating profit value is equal to 541 million dollars that on 18% more than a year ago.

As for the figures for the year as a whole, income equals 6,038 billion. This was 6% more than it received in 2015, when revenue amounted to 5,695 billion. Operating profit for the year is equal to 1,067 billion, 7% more than in 2015, equal to 994 million dollars. Operating profit for the year, calculated according to GAAP, is equal to 1,427 billion. A year ago this figure was equal to 1,166 billion, an increase of put 22%.

The drafters of the report note the growth in North American and Asia-Pacific regions. Moreover, the increase in income is observed in the segment of sales of products in the segment of services. During the year, absorption of other companies spent 1.3 billion dollars on share buybacks — 842 million dollars, to the payment of dividends — $ 280 million.
