Motherboard Supermicro A2SAV got extra SATA and Ethernet

Supermicro has introduced the system Board A2SAV based on the Intel Atom x5-E3940 their new line of Atom E3900. A new Board is remarkable not only for their generation processor Apollo Lake, but as a superset of SATA ports and Ethernet.

Quad-core CPU Atom x5-E3940 operates at a frequency of 1.6 to 1.8 GHz, the GPU includes Intel HD Graphics 500 controller and six PCI-e 2.0. Size Mini-ITX boards, it is only one slot SO-DIMM DDR3(L) straps for unbuffered RAM to 8 GB and up to 1866 MHz. Of the six SATA 6 GB/s, two connected to the SoC and a further four are through the Marvel 88SE9230 controller.

Two Gigabit Ethernet ports connected to the Intel i210-AT, also on the bracket placed video outputs Display Port, HDMI and VGA, two USB 3.0 ports and USB 2.0 and one COM. One PCI-e 2.0 x2 supplemented by slots M. 2 2280 PCI-e 2.0 x2 and one mini PCI-e supports mSATA. UEFI AMI placed in the chip SPI Flash with capacity of 64 MB. The motherboard Supermicro A2SAV also has a younger sister A2SAV-L, devoid of additional controllers.
