Motherboard Asus ROG Strix B250I Gaming backlit and is suitable to build a very compact PC

As it turned out, the motherboard Asus ROG Strix H270I, about which we wrote recently, has a younger sister – ROG Strix B250I Gaming. This model is made in the same compact form factor Mini-ITX, and is also positioned as the basis for a gaming computer, but has a different chipset (Intel B250 is H270), and there is a difference in equipment.

For example, if ROG Strix H270I Gaming has two RJ-45 ports (one Intel I219-V and the other with Realtek RTL8111H), ROG Strix B250I Gaming port for connection to a local network only one (connected to the Intel I219-V). And even a little different is the interface: instead of the six USB 3.0 ports, which offers the older model, the youngest got only four USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0.

Otherwise there is no difference. Both models have two slots M. 2, four ports SATA 6 GB/s, two full size slots for memory modules DDR4 and one PCIe 3.0 x16 slot, a built-in module that implements the communication standards Wi-Fi 802.11 ac and Bluetooth 4.1, high-quality audio subsystem, and a customizable RGB backlight.

The price difference fully reflects the difference in functionality B250I Gaming ROG Strix Strix and ROG Gaming H270I. If the first is about $155, the second price – $168.
