Motherboard Asus Prime Z270-A supporting up to two drives size M. 2

Asus, like many other motherboard manufacturers will introduce new models using the latest Intel Kaby Lake, early 2017. But the source suggests not to wait for the official announcement, and to assess the capabilities of one of the latest, Asus Prime Z270-A, now.

Asus Prime Z270-A, most likely, going to change in the model Z170-A relatively inexpensive and therefore popular among ordinary users. The novelty will keep continuity in the design (left and black-and-white coloring, and a casing on the ports input/output) and qualitative element base (the promised 10K Black Metallic capacitors, inductors, MicroFine Alloy Chokes, and MOSFET transistors), but will offer more features.

Asus Prime Z270-A has four slots for memory modules with support straps a frequency of up to 3866 MHz in OC mode, three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (electrically x16, x8 and x4), four PCIe 3.0 x1 and two M. 2 PCIe 3.0 x4. Connectors for drives with interface SATA 6 GB/s — six.Also the Asus Prime Z270-A received the SupremeFX audio and Gigabit Ethernet adapter Intel I219-V.

Interface panel of the motherboard are represented by two ports of USB 3.1 (Type-A and Type-C), four USB 3.0, video outputs HDMI 1.4, DP 1.2, DVI. As noted, the power subsystem Asus Prime Z270-A made under the scheme «8+2+2 phase».
