Monoblock for conferences and collaboration Cisco Spark Board based on the supercomputer the Nvidia Jetson TX1

Cisco has followed the example of some of their competitors and provided a huge Spark monoblock Board, designed for collaborative work, conferences and so on.

Itself Cisco identifies three main scenarios for new screen for presentations, interactive whiteboard for collaboration and device for conferences.

The device features a 55-inch touchpad 4K UHD (expected model with a screen diagonal of 70 inches), a camera that can shoot 4K video, a dozen microphones, speakers, adapters, wireless interfaces, and ports HDMI, USB 3.0 (x2), Gigabit Ethernet. Most interesting is that the device is based on the module Jetson TX1, which Nvidia calls a super computer. We will remind, it is based on SoC Tegra performance of 1 TFLOPS.

Perhaps such a non-standard platform was chosen to implement the planned features of Cisco Spark Board OS, which is based on cloud services Cisco Collaboration Cloud.

The dimensions of the Spark Board are 814 x 1283 x 49 mm and weight of 39.8 kg. the Cost of new items is $5000 and a 70-inch version will ask for twice as much. Another $200 a month will have to pay for the software.
