Mini-PC Asus VivoMini VC68V, supporting up to five drives

Range of desktop computers the company Asus has added a new model VivoMini. The device, called VC68V, notably supporting up to five drives: four HDD or SSD size 2.5 inch and one M. 2 SSD. However, there have VivoMini VC68V other options in which support drives more modest: only two HDD or SSD size 2.5 inch or the same two drives in combination with the optical drive.

Despite the fact that the device is more compact than the desktop size Midi-Tower (only two litres), it was a place for Intel Core i7 of the seventh generation (frequency up to 4.2 GHz) and 32 GB of RAM. The developers note that the new product is also suitable for video editing, and 3D modeling, but the list of characteristics of the discrete video card does not appear.

One of the interesting features of the VivoMini VC68V – the presence of buttons on the body, allowing you to answer and end Skype calls and adjust the volume. Coupled with a built-in headphone amplifier (probably meaning the one that is part of the audio subsystem of the motherboard) this makes the mini PC a kind of hub for conferencing.

Asus VivoMini VC68V endowed with six ports USB 3.1 (two of them rendered on front panel), three video outputs (two DisplayPort and HDMI), Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11 ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2, a slot for reading and writing memory cards, a headphone Jack and a serial port.
