Microsoft will end any support for Windows Vista after April 11
Windows Vista was released in early 2007. Overall it was not very successful and after only two and a half years, it was replaced with Windows 7 still being the most popular desktop OS.
According to the latest, Windows Vista is now installed on approximately 1.12% of PC in the world. But Microsoft continued to support Vista all these years. And now the company said that Vista will eventually become history.
Since 11 April this year, Microsoft will cease all support for this OS. That is, users will not receive security updates, hotfixes, will lose any technical support and so on.
Of course, you can easily continue to use Vista and beyond, just don’t count on any updates. Microsoft will also cease to provide users with Vista, the ability to install Security Essentials.
