Microsoft HoloLens headset is now available to nearly four dozen countries but it’s still very expensive
Microsoft has announced that its augmented reality headset HoloLens is available in new markets. More specifically, the list was extended from 29 European countries.
If earlier to buy HoloLens could only in 10 countries, of which Europe consisted of three, now the list includes nearly four dozen countries. The full list can be seen in the image below.
Microsoft claims that this stems from the growing interest in augmented and mixed reality from the players completely different directions. Unfortunately, the HoloLens is still aimed primarily at developers and is still the same $ 3,000. Moreover, for corporate customers, Microsoft does offers a version for $ 5,000, which is only suitable for some of the segment features.
