Microsoft announced the list of PC requirements to work with simple virtual reality headsets

Microsoft with its upcoming Windows 10 upgrade Creators Update shows what direction it intends to follow in the near future.

Among other things, is a market of virtual reality. Microsoft itself no VR headsets are not created, but the October event has promised to help the partners to flood the market with low-cost VR helmets.

Now Microsoft has published requirements that must be met for the PC to work properly with virtual reality headsets. The list included minimum: 4 GB of RAM, USB 3.0 ports, a graphics adapter with support for DirectX 12, as well as chetyrehjadernyj processor or dual-core CPU Intel Hyper-Threading technology. That is, the requirements to date, more than human.

However, it should be understood that in this case we are talking about the minimum requirements under which headset will work correctly. Serious 3D games will clearly require at least productive video.
