Mention of the graphics cards with GPU 10 Vega appeared in the Linux drivers
As you know, AMD had to leave the card on two new GPUs Vega: Vega 10 Vega 11. According to the latest data, it will be purely maps the upper price segment, whereas other segments will be presented exclusively adapters based on GPU Polaris.
According to the source, the reference video cards based on Vega 10 appeared in the AMD drivers for Linux. In all there were 100 patches containing more than 400,000 lines of code. Among them you can find seven devices with GPU Vega 10 that contain different identifiers.
This does not mean that we are waiting for seven graphics cards with this GPU, as reported by some thematic resources. Different IDs may belong to different modifications, including mobile card, professional, and so on. In reality, we can hardly expect more than one or two consumer models.
By the way, there were seven of identifiers for cards with GPUs Polaris 12. Recall, recently it became known about the graphics card line Radeon RX 500 with 640 stream processors. Apparently, it will be based on Polaris 12.
