MediaTek and Pixart will cooperate in the production of controllers for recognizing gestures in space

According to the publication Commercial Times, MediaTek and Pixart Imaging have joined forces to release a controller that can recognize gestures in space. The controllers will enable system on a chip MediaTek series MT8665 and Pixart sensors series PAJ7620U2.

Solutions, providing management with gestures in space, is supposed to be used in systems fitted to cars as optional equipment. Allegedly, the partners are «embedded» in the supply chain with orders for the controllers to control the mirrors. Moreover, the shipment of these products has already begun.

The configuration of the above-mentioned SoC MediaTek MT8665 includes Quad-core ARM Cortex-A53. A single-chip system supports Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 4G LTE. It is made according to the norms of 28 NN.
