Me Rode VideoMic — directional microphone for fans of movies with a smartphone

On passing these days the exhibition Photokina 2016 our colleagues found a curious device, created by specialists of the Australian company Rode. It’s called Me and VideoMic is a directional MIC for smartphone. The novelty is addressed to lovers of video with your smartphone.

Miniature device designed for direct connection to the socket TTRS. The flexible mount provides compatibility with a wide range of smartphones, as well as the ability to use the microphone with main or front camera. Rode VideoMic Me weighs 34 g.

Have VideoMic Me have audio output, so you can plug in headphones without disconnecting the microphone. The package includes a windscreen for shooting outdoors. The microphone is already sold at a price of $59.
