MacBook shipments this year will grow to 15 million units

The publication Economic Daily News claims that the new MacBook models this year will ensure the growth of supply of this family of laptops is about 10% to 15 million units.

Benefit from the increase in the volume of orders needs to remove the supply-chain players, including Quanta Computer Shin Zu Shing (SZS), Auras and Wistron. The source notes that despite the high price MacBook Pro with touchscreen optional display, the demand for these laptops is still high.

As expected, Apple may reduce the price of the 13-inch model MacBook Pro without the touch screen, to spur sales, as well as to replace a 13-inch MacBook Air.

We will remind, KGI Securities predicts this year’s production of 13 — inch and 15-inch MacBook Pro with Kaby Lake processors and 16 GB of RAM and 15-inch model with 32 GB of RAM.
