Logitech buys the company Saitek for USD 13 million

Logitech announced the acquisition of a fairly well-known manufacturer of gaming peripherals, Saitek, which is owned by Mad Catz Interactive. Especially Saitek is known for its ultimate systems for flight simulators.

As stated in the press release, the Saitek line of products will complement the range of family devices Logitech G steering wheels including the G29 and G920. In addition, according to third party sources, Logitech intends to use the new assets to fight in the segment of accessories and manipulators for virtual reality devices.

The amount of the transaction amounted to 13 million dollars.
