Linksys routers EA8300 and EA9300 meet the specifications of Wi-Fi 802.11 ac Wave 2

During the exhibition CES 2017, the company unveiled a new Linksys wireless routers that conform to Wi-Fi 802.11 ac Wave 2.

Model with part number EA8300 fully called Linksys Max-Stream AC2200 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Router. The total throughput of the router is equipped with three RF modules and four antennas, is 2.2 GB/s (2 x 867 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 400 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band). The manufacturer estimated that device to $200.

Router Linksys Max-Stream AC4000 Tri-Band MU-MIMO Router (EA9300) also has three radio frequency module, and antenna six. The router’s throughput is 4 Gbps (2 x 1625 Mbps in the 5 GHz band and 750 Mbps in the 2.4 GHz band). The router supports the service voice assistant Amazon Alexa. The recommended price of this device is $300.

Both adapter Linksys AC1200 Dual-Band USB MU-MIMO Adapter (WUSB6400M), designed for connection to a USB 3.0 port. It costs $60.

Sales of all three new products will begin in the spring of this year.
