The amount specified in the contract for the supply of components for Apple, is about 177 million dollars, and it is only the initial batch.

We will remind, in November of last year it became known that Apple and LG Innotek joint efforts working on a new camera for the iPhone 8 that will allow you to take 3D photos.

LG Innotek is supplying dual camera for iPhone 7 and the LG G6. The upcoming face recognition module will be significantly smaller for placement on the front panel of the iPhone 8. That is why the company had to invest in new equipment and production lines.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is used the facial recognition technology, but the technology is two-dimensional, so it can be fooled by showing a simple photograph of the user. New 3D technology LG is more accurate and technically perfect.
