Less than two weeks TSMC bought equipment 343 million dollars

Contract manufacturer of semiconductor products Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) this week bought the equipment from eight vendors, totaling about 123 million dollars. This is evidenced by the documents published on the Taiwan stock exchange.

So, on December 19 TSMC ordered the equipment from Applied Materials, Kashiyama, KLA-Tencor, Marketech International, Nanometrics and Nova, and December 20 — at Advanced ion Beam Technology, KLA-Tencor and Lam Research International.

In the previously filed documents indicated that from 9 to 16 December, TSMC has purchased equipment from Applied Materials, ASML, Chenfull International, Daifuku, Hitachi High-Technologies, Hitachi Kokusai Electric, Lam Research, Mirle Automation, Screen Semiconductor Solutions and Tokyo Electron, Uangyih-Tech Industrial and United Integrated Services for a total amount of 221 million dollars.
