Last quarter, Tesla set a new record for the number of cars produced
Tesla boasted another achievement. In the first quarter of this year, the manufacturer delivered to customers 25 000 cars. Of these, 13 450 Model S sedans and 11 550 crossover Model X.
It is by 69% more than in the first quarter of 2016, although in comparison with the volumes that Tesla promises to sell the Model 3, it is a drop in the sea.
In addition to the 25 000 set of machines, 4650 more cars at the end of the quarter was in transit to their owners, but they will be reflected in the report for the second quarter.
Tesla also reported that in the first three months of the current year produced 25 418 cars, and it was a new quarterly record.
