Kingston KC1000 size M. 2 NVMe support

Kingston announced the release of SSDs KC1000 equipped with PCIe 3.0 x4 interface and support NVMe Protocol. They use flash memory type MLC NAND and a Phison controller PS5007-E7. Delivery devices of size M. 2 2280 with a volume of 240, 480 and 960 GB to begin in mid-June.

The sequential read speed of the Kingston KC1000 achieves 2700 MB/s Maximum sequential write speed of 900 MB/s in the case of the smallest volume and 1600 MB/s in the case of two other models. Performance on read operations random access blocks of 4 KB reaches 190 000 IOPS. On write operations, the figure is 160 000 IOPS in the case of drives 240 and 480 GB, 165 000 IOPS in the case of the drive maximum volume. During the lifetime of a storage capacity of 240, 480 and 960 GB guaranteed to withstand the entry of 300, 550 and 1000 TB of data respectively. Price the manufacturer does not.
