KGI predicts 50 million pre-orders for the iPhone X

KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo (Ming-Chi Kuo) believe that Apple can collect from 40 to 50 million pre-orders for the iPhone X.


Ming-Chi Kuo said that after the iPhone 6, which was released in 2014, Apple finally is preparing to introduce really new in all respects smartphone. Those wishing to upgrade will be very much, they will not push the price of 999 dollars.


The analyst notes the great interest of the user in the face recognition system Face ID and 3D camera, which will debut in the iPhone X. He adds that if companies can convince the public that this is really a new type of interaction between user and smartphone, pre-orders break all records.



Informed sources said that Apple has reduced its orders for iPhone components X 2.5 times.
