Kaneka established in a photovoltaic module crystalline silicon with a record conversion efficiency of 24.37%

The specialists of the company Kaneka created a photovoltaic module crystalline silicon, showing a record-high conversion efficiency of 24.37%. The previous record — 24.1 per cent — was set in June by SunPower.

In September, the company Kaneka announced yet another record in this area. Its specialists managed to create a solar cell based on silicon with a heterojunction, which shows the conversion efficiency of 26.33%.
