Just a few days to release the lens Primoplan 58 f1.9 collected six times more than the planned amount
Meyer Optik Görlitz continues to produce modern versions of their old lenses, collecting funds on the website KickStarter. After the lens Trioplan f2.9/50 for the collective financing of the proposed model Primoplan 58 f1.9.
According to the manufacturer, a legendary lens, optical scheme which was designed 80 years ago, combined with a high sharpness and beautiful blur outside of the DOF area with a characteristic «swirling» pattern.

A lens with a manual focus lens is planned to be released in versions with mounts Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Fuji X, Micro Four Thirds, M42, and Leica M.
The minimum Deposit entitling to receive the lens, initially was $499, but these items ended quickly, as lots worth $549 and $599. Now the minimum payment is $649. The first batch of lenses needs to be finished in March 2017, the second in April. In wanting to touch the legend there is no shortage: although fundraising continues for several days, it has collected almost $300 000, which is six times more than the declared purpose.
