JEDEC promises to finish the development of specifications DDR5 SDRAM and Gigabyte GA-P next year

Industry organization JEDEC announced that the development of specifications DDR5 SDRAM and Gigabyte GA-P is progressing as planned. Both standards will be ready in 2018. Details about DDR5 SDRAM and Gigabyte GA-P the developers intend to talk on June 19 of this year at the event Server Forum.

The DDR5 memory will differ from the DRAM memory of previous generations of high performance and energy efficiency. Its capacity and the specific capacity will more than double DDR4.
