Japan has created a «smart» diaper, working in the urine

Specialists one of the universities in Japan created a prototype of the diaper that notifies you that replacement over a wireless connection. The peculiarity of this product is that it has no ordinary battery — the electric power necessary for the operation of electronic circuits, produced from urine.

The electricity generated is accumulated in the capacitor. When the charge reaches a certain level, it activates the radio transmitter. The amount of urine collected from a diaper, the mobile application estimates for the intervals between incoming signals from him.

The main part of the product is disposable, and electronic control unit are to be reused. The prototype was created based on the usual baby diaper.
